This supposedly came off a uniform hanging in a hospital storeroom in Tunis or Tunisia. What do you think?

Looks OK to me.

A nice original shield. You normally find this type of shield with a much less detailed eagles head and not so detailed feet and wreath. This example however has still a lot of detailed left. So I suppose it was a early one. Very nice .

I wouldn't mind having this example in my collection.
