This is a good shield made by JFS, Hunziker. It's a bit worn around the eagles beak but nonetheless a honest shield.
Is it yours? I have seen this shield before on this forum.

Thanks Pascal-again!-it's currently for sale at the Axis History forum for a reasonable price(I think).

I'm slowly building my collection and a Krimschild is next on my wants list to go with an Ostmedaille that I'm expecting.

          neil.

          PS,
I've taken the liberty of posting one of Roman's Krim's(hope he doesn't mind) to compare the backing paper shown on this thread:

Match maybe???if so,presumably someone at some point has swapped backing paper......

backing paper aside, does the cloth suggest Army/SS?

              Hi Neil,

Looks to me as two different kind of backing paper and also I have only seen JFS Krim shields with black backing paper with in white the makers mark.

Yes, I would say the cloth suggests Army/SS but again the cloth looks a bit strange to me.
