Demjansk shield, opinions please.

Hi All, please your thoughts on this (worn) Demjansk shield.

Den, is there any sign that this shield was sewn to a uniform? I personally don't like the wear pattern on it because I can't figure out how it would get this way so high up on the sleeve. The cloth backing looks like it is in much better condition than the shield.

Don't bother with this one Den. This looks to me like a very bad copy.

I agree with Don that the wear on the shield doesn't goes together with the wear of the cloth. This was probably done to disguise the bad quality of the shield.

I'm with Pascal on this shield, I received some more pics and at second thoughts i don't like it either, but thanks for looking at it.
