    Narvik Opinions

    Hello Guys and Gals,

I've had this Narvik for about year or two. Purchased here in the forum. I checked Pascal's thread on Narvik's and I believe it might be a Deumer early version as it has a short 1 and an even space between the V and the I. I'm no shield expert but I believe it's 100% original.

Expert opinions on this Narvik would be appreciated.

    Thank you
    Mike

    .....

Hi Mike...I posted a discussion on this one as agreed. I have to say for me it's a Deumer copy.

On original Deumers as with other Narviks the wreath should sit on the bottom of the crossbar whereas on your shield there's a gap.

      I agree with Peter here.

It´s a known fake that have been posted here from time to time.

Looks like an original early Deumer, looks like the same badge to me on Pascal's thread. I could be wrong.

        Thanks,
        Mike

If its a fake I hope I can get my money back, this was purchased from a forum sponsor John at Germanwarbooty last year.
          Thanks,
          Mike

Thanks Lee, it's the right thing to do. I'd hate to get boned, something I'd never do to a fellow collector. We've all been through it if you've been in the hobby long enough.

                      I'm glad everything worked out.

                      All the best,
                      Mike
