The lappland is a so called '57. Not a copy originally intended to deceive.

Hello Simon, thanks for that. I'm not upto the game with alot of this gear, but I'm helping an old chap who picked it up in the 70s,80s to find out what's real etc

So thanks for your help : )

Very difficult to tell from this angle but the Kuban could be original, the Lappland as Simon already mentioned a '57 type and all the other ones are fake.

From this angle I see that Krim, Demjansk, Narvik are fake. Kuban might be original.

Straight forward pictures are always best.

                      Thanks very much chaps,

Im Rather lost on these items!, Im just trying to helping out an older collector who picked it all up in the 70's / 80's

it looks like quite mix of good and bad, I have afeeling he will be disapointed with fakes he has, but Im sure he will be over the moon with the prices on the real items etc a good chance I will buy the good items and sell them on the forum here, as you guys have been such good help

I would sell them on behalf but we know that is a big nono, so buy first then sell

                      again thanks ever so much!

The Demjansk looks to be a nice original without backing. Better pictures would help of course.

From what I can see however, this looks to be an original magnetic "Serif J & moving prop" Demjansk with clear rusting on the reverse side.

The version of this Demjansk shield deemed to be a fake are the ones made of zinc,
