    Hi guys!
Would you please take a look at these 2 Afrikakorps CT's?
I'm no expert on them and only know to look for an oblong "O" and a kind of tartan pattern in the material on the reverse.
    Thanks!

                    Hi Greg,

Always glad to offer an opinion and it is nice to be thanked for it, as most don't bother.

The top example looks to be the earlier war time issued type, whilst the lower looks more tan and these I think were only found unissued after the war, though Tim OK has more knowledge on these than I do.

                    Regards,

                    Jerry

                      Hi Greg

Thanks for sending these images to my em. They are both fine early olive originals Notice the holes for the R & P are different shapes in your examples. One has the more common different sized square & rectangle holes and the other the less common one with the holes the same size & rectangle shape approx. Both variations are good.

And Jerry thanks for the compliment but you are as good as i on these. Once anyone knows what to look for the are not hard to tell from the fakes. I am a student from Ade's "AKCT School" and have learned over the years how to spot the fakes thanks to his help
