    both look fine to me, 33 Art did serve in north Afrika, I have a board to that unit. Matt

      Hello,

      The document definitely looks good to me. I also think the cufftitle is good, but I wouldn't mind seeing a closer picture of both the front and reverse. The cufftitle was obviously cut down and it looks like it had been glued into a scrapbook or some other display.

        Ct is a good one, agree with Matt. 33rd PzJr Bn was in Afrika from the beginning. Interesting to see that the award is dated Mar 17 '44 so late in the War and yet they were still handing these out...

            Everything looks good. The 33th Panzerjaeger is one of my favourite units in North Africa.

                I have a similar citation - also awarded in Landau and dated just one day later for a former member of an Infantry Rgt. It was awarded after he had been discharged from the Wehrmacht due to wounds received at the First Battle Of El-Alamein so I wonder if this particular one was also awarded so late for the same reason - i.e. catching up on the paperwork for those that were badly wounded from that theatre?
