    Recent tunic removed Kuban find

I just picked this one up and thought I would share it here. It has turned a dark brown and is a possible tunic removed example. I didn't have the the prong only the edge tab type so I believe it a welcome addition. Comments welcome.

I don't think it was removed recently just found recently Thank you for taking a look .

      Great shield .

Thanks for sharing. I don't think this type of shield was ever made with side tabs. I only know this type with prongs.

This type of shield is to come with and without a die flaw. The one you are showing is the one with the die flaw.

          Pascal,

Thank you for taking a look and your comments.

I am deciding what shield to to keep between my edge tab example or this one.

This example has the tunic worn appeal and has turned this deep brown color. This type seems to be much more scarce then the side tab examples.

          Thanks again
