During the war it was "Wachregiment" if I'm correct?

The Story of Wachregiment starts much earlier than WWII
To first was Wachtruppe (1933).1934 is this Unit renamed to Wachtruppe Berlin.1937 is this Unit again renamed to Wachregiment Berlin.1939 from Wachregiment Berlin is Infanterie Regiment ,,Grossdeutschland,,.
Wachregiment has never Cufftitle only ,,W,, on Shoulderboards.The first CT for this Unit was Grossdeutschland CT 1 st Pattern.
