Opinions Needed - Afrikakorps Cuff title...

I'm looking at this cuff title and would like to get some opinions. The stitching looks right on with other examples I've seen, but I still want to get some thoughts.

I wonder how many of these exist as a ratio of who could have worn them, if they were restricted to be worn only by members of the DAK?

The AKCT could be worn by any German Herr solder that had served for at least two months in NA not just the actual DAK units. The LW flak units assigned to the DAK did wear them also...
Judging from the wartime photos less than 1% of the troops in Afrika wore them on their tropical tunics ( no need to wear one in Afrika, everyone knows your there), and a very few attached them to their continental tunics for wear in Europe during the summer months. Most just kept them as souvenirs.

The olive ones were worn and issued. The tan ones came out to late to be used, as the AKCT had been discontinued in late '42. (though these tan ones are popular to add to a tropical tunic post war.) The Afrika Ct was then issued in early '43, but so far, no photos exist of any Herr units wearing them in Afrika and it is thought the earliest Afrika Ct appeared in Italy in mid '43.

Does this mean we could/should call all Heer (and some luftwaffe) units in Africa AFRIKAKORPS and reserve DAK for those from the actual units? It is difficult to classify non DAK units that served in Africa, in terms of what to call them, rather than use Panzergruppe Afrika (PGA) and Panzerarmee Afrika (PAA), as they don't sound as good and are not as recognisable, especially to the layman. Never mind the 1st Italian Armee (1stIA), who would know what that refers to?

The allies referred to all German troops in Africa as DAK/Africa corps and that is what most people think of when this conflict is mentioned. And anyone selling anything vaguely related.
