I just secured this Kurland Cuff Title...I was hoping for some assistance with opinions on authenticity. I hope the pictures are enough to make a determination. Many thanks in advance for any/all help!!

Yes, they are period pieces.
In my opinion yours is a period made cuff title as well.
However, as the cuff titles shown above and below, it is a field made item and not an accepted official cuff title.

naxos; thanks for the opinions and information. I sure appreciate and need the education!
I'd welcome any further comments on the CT or any guidance in general as I'm not locked into this one and I continue to search. If I get enough positive "vibes" on the one I initially posted below I may choose to negotiate a better price and take a chance on it....crudeness in design/manufacture doesn't trouble me...it's all about the authenticity...

Just as an observation, if the first cufftitle posted here is real, it is the ONLY one with a black moose on white shield; on all the others, it's either a white moose on black shield or white on white.
