Hi guys, I need your opinion about these two shields.
This is not my field, but from what I see are both fakes. Too much problems with the eagle head, numbers, design, etc etc...

I agree...the eagles head on the kuban is very bad and the logs on the Demjansk are HUGE!

That's what I meant Peter! I did not have to go to the Whisky's , my mind has been screwed up lately as it is[ .... used the Russian term for this peculiar activity.
And I agree with you these things do catch collectors. How many time have I witnessed live auctions with collectors bidding like hell against each other for crap like this ....only to feel totally powerless to prevent it form happening or yell "STOP! THIS IS BLOODY FAKE!"

Absolutely agree with you Filip...we've all been there but if these guys aren't prepared to use the forums and just 'ask' then what can you do.
There's plenty of info out there and collectors prepared to help if they want it.
