Strange prongs on Narvik shield

    Strange prongs on Narvik shield

    Hello. I have the possibility to buy this Narvik shield, but the placing of the prongs to hold the backing plate puzzles me. I have not seen this configuration before. The seller says the shield is magnethic btw, but this could be just the backing plate, as it looks like i has some light surface rust.
    I like the details of the shield itself, they look sharp and clear. The shield looks to be in unissued condition.
    Is this a original shield, or should I steer clear of this one?
    Any help and comments are most welcome.

    Normal prong position for this Narvik type.

      Thanks for the quick reply, Filip. I will try to go ahead with the purchase then.
      I also just used the search function here, and found several older threads regarding this particular type of Narvik shield.

          Could I get help with attributing this to a possible potential maker?
          The Eagle head and beak is most interesting.
          Certainly different from the typical Junker and Deumer birds I guess I have been seeing lately.
