    Hi LH

Why not keep it in your collection then if you are so sure its a rare variant

If two never before seen shields with strange cloth both found in Oslo - in same condition makes proof for you then fine with me - but I'm not convinced!

      Thomas.
The shields are not from the same area for your info.

        Hi Thomas,

How did get the idea that the shield you compared with the LH 600 is a so called Juncker type?
I never suggested it was the so called Juncker and I am sure you can see the differences between the shield you posted and the so called Juncker type.
This is clearly not a so called Juncker type.

This is a bit like comparing apples with pears when comparing 2 shields of a different type with each other.

          Hi Pascal

          Got the idea from you:

"It is said that this type of Narvik was made by Juncker although there is no proof for that."

            Hi Thomas,

It was indeed at that time (2007) suggested that the type you posted was the so called Juncker type. As said at that time there was never proof that this type was ever made by Juncker.
If you followed the discoveries about the shield types and makers you can't have missed that it turned out that this type was in fact not a so called Juncker type but a different type.
