    NARVIK SHIELD opinions ?

    Hi
    A collector may have this shield for sales. I have not built up knowledge for this type of shields yet. I have to ask peoples collect them.

    Is this Shield orginal or a repro ? Pics take by the owner in different light cond.

    Looks good possible Deumur, but much closer pics are needed if you are thinking of buying, would also wait for other opinions. All the best

      Mate, I have been looking at, and collecting shields more over the past few months and from what knowledge I have picked up, I like it very much...wait for more expert opinions but as mrg says it looks good!

        I think it has a good shot at being a good one but as MRG said...better photos are needed but things are looking good.

          I agree, that closer shots are needed. Especially around the upper portion details around the wreath and swastika.

          But, This looks like it has potential.

                    Hello, I am the owner of the shield, and just by curiosity and A huge interest in learning about militaria, i wonder what are the signs that the backing may be fake? I am only asking for the interest of learning more as mentioned above
