Kuban shield, any ideas??

I have the chance to buy this Kuban shield. There is one missing in my shield collection. What do you think, a good one???

Well, I will be the first to admit that I have never seen one like this one (style wise), so I really can't say. But, I am highly suspect of this one as the details look a bit too "modern" IMO.

Is it me ...or is there mothing on the backround material at the bottom? Didnt the germans use this bent over tab on other skulls etc?

Backing cloth is for sure replaced but I think that one is good. That type with the side tabs was only recognised as legit a few years back.

I have no problems with the cloth, even though majority of this Kyban type come with the backing plate only. As for side tabs, they are being faked now days too.
