    Cholm Shield, real or a good fake???

    Hi folks!!

    I saw this cholm shield in an auction. I think the back looks good, but what´s about the front??? All opinions are welcome. Is there a possibility to be real???

              May I ask, what is the Floch characteristic on shields? I guess he have copyed most of them.

              For noob like me, I see the wide prong on the backside that I would say that this shield is not orginal.

                I guess the main characteristics that give this copy away is the poor/grainy finish on the shield and as you say, the prongs that are used.
                The detail on the shield is not as good as an original and the detail/shape on area's like the Eagles head aren't right either although it's a good copy and unless you've handled an original you could easily get caught on one of these.

                    No, I have not handle a real one yet and These are pretty rear imo.

                    But If I was going to buy a Cholm S. I would study the peace realy well before I buy.
