AFRIKA cufftitle opinons please

I would be grateful for your thoughts on this one. The width is obviously abnormal, but there are things about it that look correct. It came in a box of all original tropical German insignia so I am hopeful.

reverse. Notice how the silver thread has worn down to natural color in places. One of the "good" signs I believe.

It is good. It is what I refer to as the "slanted A" version where you see the A in Afrika slanting to the left. This version also always has the braid offset slightly from the edge. Yes, the silver thread should show some white when worn down. The uneven width is seen when tunic removed or handled alot.

I am glad that you got good news.
I use this as a learning experience. I didn't think that it was a good one personally. The space between the bottom piping and the letters seemed larger than the version I have?
Always learning something new.

Here is one of my Afrika cuff titles which is the same version as yours. Notice the slanted "A", offset braid, and white showing at the frayed ends. This one is in a frame and was veteran tunic removed. My favorite insignia is the Afrika cuff title.
