    Kriegsmarine narvik shield help needed

Hey guys, wondered if I could get some feedback on this badge. The quality is really nice. Only thing I noticed is that the pins have been moved at some point, as there is a former impression of where they were. Opinions appreciated. Let me know if further pics are required.

I'd say a nice original Deumer that may have had the backing replaced. That might explain the pins being moved.

These Deumer shields seem to hold their finish quite well compared to other makers IMO.

Thanks, the cloth looks like it was glued to the cardboard, as the spots on the sides have weakened and you can kind of see it was. The shield itself is very impressed into the cloth.

          Hi Gerard,
Time is correct it is a nice real Deumer shield. Is there any type of oxidation on the cloth? I agree with you, it does look tampered with when looking at the pin placement.

          Regards,
          Jody
