the yellow on the bottom doesn't show like that in real life... also the back is totally covered in black cloth or paper - don't know which

also I guess you can see the foto was made at a slight angle so the eagle detail is poor...

Judging by the bottom wing tips, it's a good , type 2 Narvik shield. I would expect the back to be covered with cloth.

It would be very interesting to see that Narvik up close . A KM Narvik shield on dark blue cloth is suppose to be gold in color. Yet, the one I posted is also on KM cloth. I alway thought it had lost somehow all it's gold, but it is in great shape with no signs of zinc corrosion that could eat up all the gilding. Silver Narvik shields have been spotted in wear by KM, but these were generic shields without any backing cloth.

maybe even tho it came with KM war badges the one I mentioned is Pz.? (also in the group was a VERY bad LW pilot badge and a WWI uboots badge that looks like a reenactor copy.

maybe I have to go try to make more pix but the dealer is a hard one on this score.
