    Maker comfirmation on Krim S.

    Hello my friends.

Here I have a Krim shield, this shield have been in my collection for some time. Few days ago I decided to take a look at the reverse side of the shield it self. The back plate had only one prong left so it was easy to take it off without damage anything and yes the plate is pretty stuck with only one prong.

I was suprise when I saw the backside.. It seem that there is a maker mark, rightside in the middle. It lookslike it´s "WA", with W on the top with ring around. I guess it´s Wilhelm Annetsberger, Munchen.

Can you guys see it aslo? Or am I imagin it

                Hlynur,

Yes, I see where your whole country is pretty much bankrupt, what a shame.

I feel for you, know what its like to try to keep collecting whenever exchange rates worsen.

As for the markings; The marking is unique and you can see the "K" Karl; "W" Wurster and "M" Markneukirchen all incorporated in it. The original one you called out is similar and was used by Willy Annetsburger of Munich where the "W" was on top and the "A" and "M" were stylized in similar fashion all inside a circle.
