Narvik Shield opinions

This KM type looks made from Cupal. Worn but very nice. Backplate is gone. One or two prongs probably reattached.

At least that is my opinion, would like others to offer their opinions plus valuation. I put it at around 550-600 Euros but not sure if I am off on this. It is not for sale or going to estand, I just need to authenticate it for insurance reasons.

I think I am right about the badge and value but would appreciate your advice and opinion.

Hi John..nice shield but would say the backing cloth is not original. Looks Cupal but I think you're valuing the shield to high. 350-400 eur IMO.

Do most of the shield collectors feel that Peter is correct and to go with his opinion of the badge itself and valuation range?

A shield with back plate and backing go for about 300 - 400 Euro.
So i think you have over estimate the value a little bit..

Thanks Andy, then it appears tha this one should be valued around 300 euros based on what has been said so far.

I am certain the shield itself is period and it might be a period replaced backing since two of the prongs have been repaired.
