    Krim Shield

Well, after due diligence on my homework here this evening (there are 500 threads on Krim Shields!!!), I am convinced that mine is a good, period original. This magnetic shield seems to have all of the right features. However, I would like to have this verified, please, one way or the other. I am still not sure if it is a Karl Wurster or one by an unknown maker. I shall be grateful for opinions, as the case may be, please.

    Thanks,

    John

                Hi John,

                No problems with this one.

                Cheers

Many thanks guys. Your feedback is much appreciated. Presently doing the homework on my Kuban and Demjansk. I already struck-out on my LW Narvik and have determined myself - from examples shown here on this forum - that my Cholm is a well-known fake, so won't even bother posting it...except maybe eventually in the WAF "Fakes" section.

                    Hi John.

Atleast It´s not Karl Wurster. This Krim Shield got more fine edges on eaglehead and on Krim map.

                        John,

Here's a quick comparison of the two; the unknown version likes yours (left) and a Karl Wurster (right). You can see some obvious differences in just these areas.

You have a nice shield and one of the better styles IMO. Congrats!

Look at these leaves around the swastika, pretty much diffrence there

Overall fine details on the unknown one, thx Tim for showing us comparison

It would be lovely to know who was the maker of these fine looking shield types.
