    Hm that was a new one for me.
    Havent seen that before.

    Could it be realistic that German POWs could do this in the camps after the War, no i dont think so.

    Could it be a "57"?

              just when you think you've seen it all...

              The design has simply been scanned from this document type.

              BTW, saw what looked to be a perfectly genuine period shield go for around 5 euros on German E-bay at the weekend.
