Deumer Krim?

I seem to recall the maker of this shield being identified as Deumer.
Is this correct?

It is, Andy But the backing has been definitely replaced .

Agree with Filip.....nice minty Deumer but cloth and paper not original. Possibly the shield's been taken from a display board...

sorry to bring this back up but just double checking before it goes on the estand. Here is a picture of the shield in natural light-Is it 100% that the backing is a post war replacement

IMO it is. The cloth is not of the type that's used on the shields. In addition, the backing paper is a 100% replacement and it often suggests that the shield was messed with. You can compare it to mine text book Deumer.
