    Tombak KM Narvik

    I have been looking for a nice example of one of these for a while and found this one but looks a bit off to me though i'm no expert on these.

    Would welcome any comments.

    I see no problems with this shield.
    IMO, a nice original shield in good condition.

          Original shield but looks to be Zinc not Tombak.

            I don't really like the horizontal prong set-up coupled with the phony needle holes in the paper that should be cloth to begin with.

              That backing paper and the 'stitching' would worry me as well.

                I hadn't see the reverse of this shield before and I agree with Filip that the backing paper does not look very original to me.
                However the horizontal setup of the prongs is typical for this type of shield.
