    Odd Krim Shield

    I have not seen this pattern before and figure it must be a copy. The numeral 4s look different from each other, in size.

      Thanks Flip. I agree. the dates are strange and the pebbling is very poorly executed. I spent several hours searching former threads, but could not find this exact type. So many threads have the photos deleted.

      Could we start a fake shield thread in the fakes gallery forum?

        A fake shield gallery would be excellent!!!!!! Why haven´t it been done already?? I sure have missed such gallery.......................

          OK, I started a thread "Krim Shield Fakes" in the Fake awards forum. I hope we can add all the dubious shields in additional further separate threads.

          I know I use the search function and am often dissapointed to find the linked photos have been deleted, which destroys the integrity of the thread. Lets make a gallers so no one else, like me, gets fooled with some of the shields.

            I anticipate a lot of heated debates on certain Krim types that considered fakes by some and original by others.

              I think Filip is right on that! But, it may be a lively and worthwhile set of threads!

              What ever happened to the "sticky" that was supposed to show the most common "Floch" and Small-4" fakes?

                You wouldn't be referring to the Mk 2 Helmet fake would you Filip.....

                But I agree...a section on fake shields wouldn't be a bad idea.
