Demjansk Shield - JFS

Thank You........Pascal and to all fellow WAF members. Whether Good or Bad.........Many Thanks. That includes - Alex from Russia.

My next question is - I have two JFS Demjansk Shields that are identical, front and back. The strange thing is the second one on the right is stamped with a different marker mark - but same type of paper backing. Please see attached pictures.

By the way - I got both Demjansk Shields about five years ago on Ebay.

Hopefully, Pascal can chime in with his much valued opinion. There are basically two people in WAF with ultra knowledge in the field of Campaign Shields. Pascal is one of them to me.

The Demjansk Shield paper backing on the right looks like -

It appears the paper backing from JFS become exhausted at one time and resorted to using from another vendor........?????

Hi guys,

The "Wernstein" stamp on the right, always in this hardly readable form, is on the reverse of many types of fake shields, not just Demjansk shields.
