    Not another shield!

I'm sorry guys, it seems you are asked for opinions on every Krim shield that comes along. I've tried to do my homework and search every thread posted on these but just when I think I have a handle on it, some different variation comes along and I am back to square one. I guess I just don't have the eye for detail to collect badges and awards. Anyway, opinions on one more please???

I would like to see the back of this shield and let me guess, the shield is NOT-magnetic?

The shield is not magnetic and I'm afraid I can't show the back because it is sewn onto an entire section of cut sleeve!!!

Well that is indeed going to be difficult .

Can you feel how the shield is attached to its backplate? By side tabs or prongs?

What is your opinion on the cut sleeve?

The backing cloth is a very close color match to the sleeve cloth. The quality of the sleeve wool is much better than I would expect to see on a 1942-43 issue tunic unless it was for an officer. The badge is sewn on much better than what the pictures show. I can see no traces of stitching on the inside of the sleeve.

                    The prongs run vertically.
