Krim shield in cellophan, original?

Wrong! That actual shield used to belong to me and is original, the cellophane package is also genuine. This type of shield is heavily faked but they always get the beak wrong. Frank Heukemes also posted a similar packaged sample when I posted this in a thread a couple of years ago. It is a beautiful near mint shield and I regret selling it, pics could be a lot better though!

This cellophane packet is genuine , notice the Ldo box: when they sit with the warrenty seen throught the packet, just above it or mm's of the bottom (of the Ldo logo in the box) line below it (with the odd liberal difference here and there) thats good.

On the fakes the Ldo box is in the middle of the warrenty as seen throught the packet.

There are other differences etc in the warrenty, letter shape etc, ink colour etc Originaly these 'originals' had black ink, over time it's gone purple.

i stand corrected. however, i challenge a search on the forum and you would find value in my statement. it would be nice for those threads to be corrected with this new information.

Hi Guys shield looks like a nice original. Not the best of pics though, and a better look at the eagles head would help. All the best

Both shield and packet are original and are in mint condition.
Very rare to see such a combination.
