I think you're right Raymond. I also think that this shield is a fake.

Here is is what I think is the original which stood model for this shield.

Hi Pascal.

Thanks as always for your learned opinion. I did not like the detail of the lettering and I have learned to be suspicious of such backing as it usual is there to hide a multitude of fake signs.
