    Krim Shield opinions.

I have posted this shield before, but was wondering what it is that is wrong with it? What is it that gives it away?

    Many thanks again

        Hi Simon,
If you compare the original shield which stood model for this fake with the fake you will notice immediately the lack of detail on the fake.
The fake is almost completely flat and the original is a little concaved.
Also the fake shield is not magnetic while almost all the original shield of this type are magnetic expect for the very rare early ones, which are made out of zinc.

Have a closer look at the eagles head and see how different they are on a close inspection.

Also have a good look underneath the wreath, see what I mean .

            Pascal,
Surely it is the same silly question from a newby over and over again but,
are authentic Krim shields hard to trace (if somebody has taken the effort of faking them, perhaps not, I suspect...)
            Are they hugely expensive?
            Many thanks,

            Aitor
