    Metz 1944

I just picked up a duplicate Metz 1944 cuff title and thought I would post it with the title from my collection.

      Bob:
These are so rare, I do not think many people can comment...kind of like those National Geographics where the scientist discovers a hertofor unseen species of Amazon tree frog...so few have ever seen one in the flesh, maybe it is hard to get excited. Having painstakingly researched this cufftitle and then written the article for the Association web page, both look good to me....but neither of those efforts qualify me as an expert...and I find the post exciting.

      Thanks for posting them....

        Hello Scott,

Thank you for the comments. I had one, many years ago, which is commonly used in all the reference. It was lost when my home was destroyed in a windstorm. I obtained the duplicate and was fortunate enough to have a good friend who needs it, for his collection. Nothing is more satisfying than to see a piece go where it belongs, especially at a pretty fair price.

Bob, thanks for posting thess wonderful cufftitles. The "Metz 1944" has always eluded me to complete my collection of award titles. These photos are excellent reference to help identify a real one...Tom
