I just got this Kreta and I'm not exactly sure what to make of it. I used the search tool and went through all the Kreta threads. Its certainly not a textbook original, nor does it match any of the fakes discussed. Personally I like the embroidery and overall aging and look. The RBN doesn't match the one usually seen and the base material is a crosshatch # pattern vs the accepted diagonal // pattern. On the back there appears to be a cheese cloth you sometimes find on other cufftitles like for example some GD silver wire versions. However its not what it appears. It almost looks like its part of the process used to form the letters. Anyway heres some detailed pictures. Jim
