Question - info on the "basics" for the Demyansk Shield?

Hello members,
I am trying to do some basic studying on the Demyansk shield and I've seen references made to a "JFS fake" and missing log variant. I don't see any sort of pinned thread or sticky that discusses the variations and fakes of this particular shield. Am I missing something? ... or is there a good place to go to learn more on the basics and variations of this particular shield? I appreciate any insights on this matter. Thank you, Dan

Why is it needed? The fake JFS will not be original from her.

To be clear on my question; based on reading various threads, it "seems" there may be at least 2 variations to original Demyansk shields and a few "regular" types of fakes. I may certainly be wrong in that statement. I was just wondering if there was a good forum thread or reference for this matter, similar to what exists for the Krim Shield. It appears there is not. I will certainly share any shield that I come across and am serious about buying, I just like to get as knowledgeable as I can in advance.
