Martin, thanks, was the cuff for DKM same colour (white background) as others. Not sure where this attached version came from, or if its real?

The regulation white cloth backgound cufftitle was the official type given to most of the KM recipients.
However,i have read that a rare unofficial variant of the cuffband on blue backing did exist for the Kriegsmarine.

        Cheers,Martin.

Have not been able to confirm the blue Krete was originally from the war or not ? There are a few in collections though.
Here is member Rob's sample of Krete ct's including the blue varient. Patrick also has one if i am not mistaken ?

          cheers

all pictures and portraits I have seen with KM Personal. They wore the classic white band.
Sorry, I don't believe in those tapes.

Yes, so far there is no proof of the blue Krete ct having been issued or worn during the War from any photos i have seen.

How many variations of the standard Krete ct are there, 5 or 6 ? Does the blue version match any of them ??

I have seen maybe 10 photos of marine soldiers wearing cretan ribbons. And they were all white.
