Hi,

Wanted to add a nice KM Narvik shield into my collection, but I have no experience in Narvik shields. So I hope I can get some opinion on this one.

Is this shield original, cloth, backing paper?

OK, I understand that is is difficult to tell if cloth/backing paper is genuine or not.

But are there any red flags about it?

Ok, it looks very new to me. Also is that blue backing paper? I've never seen blue backing paper before.

I agree, mine too. KM shields seem to have dark blue almost black backing. The shield looks in great shape.

Shield itself is in great condition, but I do not believe the cloth backing to be genuine, indeed most KM Narvik shields have a more darker blue almost black cloth backing.
