Demjansk Shield Backing Paper

With some time on my hands I have sorting out my 'odds-and-ends' box, and found this among the various items inside.

Around 20 or so years ago I had a Demjansk Shield with Field Grey backing cloth, complete with the attached backing paper.

I only had the shield for a short time and sold it on however, for some reason the backing paper had dried out and became detached from the shield, and for some reason or another became seperated from the shield when it was sold.

On reflection I have no idea whether the shield was original of not, and thought I would ask the question of the backing paper here.

If it is deemed fake it will go in the bin soonest.

All pointers will be gratefully received.

I am only asking the question as I understand these shields are being made fake in total, and wanted to find out if this backing paper was from an original or from a reproduction.

Any thoughts?
