Kuban possibly Deumer

You probably will not agree with me, but I think that there is a sound grain to these considerations.
Of course, it is impossible to say with 100% probability that Deuter did it, but the plate was used alone in the Crimea and the Kuban and defects were left with one tool. Probably a rolling machine and a punching machine.

The workpiece was probably shifted, so some clearly visible lines, some somewhere higher, then lower, but their slope is the same.

Unfortunately, here it is not particularly clearly visible.

I made an overlay of one plate (added transparency) to the other with a little shift, so that it is clear that they are identical.

Characteristic marks appear. Parallel indicated the direction of movement of the workpiece, and the arrow marks from the die cutting

That is an interesting observation you made Vladimir.
I have several of these Kuban shields in my collection but only 1 without the backing paper.

The different inclination to the Krim / Kuban and Narvik / Demyansk can be explained by the different location under the cutting of the plate to save material.

The paper seems similar in type: the color is different due to the subjective color rendering. Unfortunately, there is no way to compare in hand.
