    Kuban mini on estand

I would like to discuss the miniature Kuban shield which is currently up for sale on the estand https://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/for....php?t=1032193.

I've asked the seller if he would like to discuss the mini but it seems he doesn't want to.

What are your thoughts about this mini?

      Thanks Peter.
I have never seen an original mini Kuban. I seriously doubt if they ever existed.

Pascal, that makes two of us . As a side-note, I'm not here to judge people, but the apparent indifference presented by the seller is rather arrogant if you ask me .

        cheers

What's the upcoming book? I'm a bit out of touch with shields!

            Regards

Definitely not an authentic miniature of the Kuban shield!

                      Mini

The mini posted by Pascal is definitely different to the one in the first post and the post by Peter J?
                      Makes for interesting debate?

Why a debate, a sensible discussion would be more appropriate. No matter how many awful looking 16mm Kuban shields we show on this forum, non of them would be originals by definition. All 16mm war badges were banned from production in July 1943, the Kuban shield was instituted in Sept. 1943!!!

                        cheers

I fully agree with Peter. When studying and researching the Campaign shields I never came across an original 16 mm Kuban mini nor an original Demjansk mini.
This is only supported by Peter's statement.
