I have run across this badge, I know it is an NSFK badge, but what was it awarded for? What is its value? Thanks!

It seems to be a day badge of a flying day held in Frankfurt am Main in 1939.

The image is at http://www.geocities.com/laxman_00/NAZI_pin.jpg but it only seems to work when you try in (or cut n past) the URL yourself in the address field of your broweser.
