assmann gab

hello all
i recently got 2 assmann MM gab with the 1 below the A and the correct 3 pad marks on each side but these appear to be something other than zinc they are not as thick as all my other assmann gab. and they wiegh the same but thinner. did they make these out of other metal than zinc? i got these as repros but when i saw the pad marks and raised A i was hoping to geta deal. any comments thanks rodney

Rodney I'm not sure about the mark on these but they have one like you describe on GDM militaria and selling it as an original.
