    These awards are extremly rare, as are the minitures of the class. The silver class was awarded only once and therefore is unobtainable. If some kind person can explain the method of posting scans, I will be happy to share my set, and a very good copy of the gold. This was made in the US in about 1980.

            I have a question for Mr. Ailsby. I have two of your books and find many obvious fakes listed as original. Did you know that these items were fakes before or after you used them? Some items you have listed are most astonishing originals, but I find the fakes distracting.

              From Forman's 1st edition 1988 the price put on them then was for the President's chain of office Silver Gilt $15,000 only one made.And for the 57mm Gold $3,000/ 57mm Silver 2,500/57mm Bronze $2,000 and the three grades in miniature $750. jnoble

                I saw one once at a Military Show, on Wolfe and Hardins table. It was like a piece of jewelry no question as to authenticity.
