Frank & Reif General Assault badge

I am buying a Frank & Reif General Assault badge and would like to see some photos from your collections. My original post was deleted for some reason, so I am asking again. All pictures are very appreciated.

I would be VERY careful with Frank and Reif badges. These are faked on evey level. KM, Heer whatever, they're being done veru heavily.

I have alot of pictures of Frank and Reif GAB's. Including ground dug to compare to. I will send them email, but your address is blocked.

Kevin is right, these are heavily faked but I think I can help you out. Email me.

I dont have time at the moment to post them.

Hi Kettenhund. I posted this last night but it disappeared. I have two types: a semi-hollow back and a solid back. Click the links and scroll down for close-ups.

Kroy, note the Frank & Reif General Assault badge doesn't have the spaces between the eagle's wings and the bayonet and grenade cut out. The weight on the solid back is 30.8 grams.

Thank you everyone, for the great information. Lorenzo, I just picked this badge up, and it looks just like the one you posted with the scooped-out back. I will post pictures when my scanner will be fixed.

                  Lorenzo,
Thanks for posting those pictures, you just identified my unmarked GAB. As others have said this badge is being faked a lot. I saw over a dozen of the solid backed badges at a show this past summer but with much less detail.

Finally, my scanner is fixed and I have an upload platform. Here are pictures of the zinc F&R badge that I picked up:

I bought a badge which looks exactly like your one approx. 20 years ago in germany.
The details of the front are very fine and in my mind the badge is original.
