PILOT'S BADGE QUESTION

Hello, all-

Has anyone come across an original hollow-backed Pilot's Badge with a "900" mark on the pin? Any info appreciated - badges are not my thing!

I personally have never seen or heard of a hollow backed pilot's badge, and I've seen plenty of pilot's badges.

My personal opinion - If it did exist, it was definately a specially made private purchase piece ( special presentation to a unit commander?) etc., not a mass produced awarded type.
