Gold or Bronze DRL Sports Badge

Hello All:
Just got a DRL badge by Petz and Lorenz. It looks more gold than bronze. I could take a photo, but I am not sure my image will add anything. Is there a way to tell the difference between gold and bronze? Is Petz & Lorenz considered an unusual maker for this badge? Are their DRL badges considered scarce? Thanks.

Good question

Some of the badges have lost alot of its finish and some gold badges look alot like bronze. I have a badge like that I believe is gold and not bronze. In the areas where there are still finish, the gold is shining. There are still alot of finish around the pin. A bronze finsh I believe can look like gold but is not shining much and are more brown/dark. I do not know if its a rare maker?

Sorry, but I haven't been able to post pictures. My battery, rechargeable, on my camera went dead and I am having trouble finding a replacement! Cleaned up the badge and it really shines like gold!!!

Gold DRL Sports Badge Photos
