Help needed in identifying badge.

I have come across this badge which might be an Imperial Tank Badge, or more likely a fake of one. I would be grateful for any opinions on it. Thanks.

A view of the reverse, which seems to have thee metal prongs to attach it to a uniform. The whole badge is constructed of thin metal.

This is actually a barretabzeichen or beret badge for the modern German Tank Corp. There is a more recent version with the German tri-color flag at the bottom of the badge.

good call mbizy, i think if the imperial german army had tanks like this in ww1, they might have won!!

Thanks everyone for your opinions. Seems that some "dealers" just write anything on their stock. I think possibly that I should have had a bit more common sense looking at the design of the tank! Anyway the important thing is that I've found out what it actually is.
