    Unknown BreastBadge

SCROLL DOWN FOR PICTURES OF FRONT AND BACK OF THE ITEM!

Looks like something made in a basement in the 70's......used a cap badge and attached it to the centre?

    Thanks,
    JR

God, if i see one more Nazi alarm clock in Canada at an antique mall or auction i will scream!

JR..pics will have to be taken for certain..perhaps DLV related?

I honestly have no clue. Few people have thought its a Luftwaffe related item but i'm starting to think it could be political or civil. I'm still trying to get pictures of it so i can pass it around and see what people think it is.

I have 2 books on Nazi miltiaria and none of them have this item so I really hope i get the pictures soon. If I cant identify it, then I will just gamble and buy it. Its a risk you take sometimes as a collector I guess. Hopefully it will pay off in the future!

The back plate looks like a prewar police shako frontpiece, I would take it apart, the red backing looks like modern slogan button etc, the eagle is political. I think it probably is postwar put together as well.

well i wont be buying this. The dealer also had some other questionable pieces...although the ballonist badge looked genuine....im gonna avoid buying anything from him. I dont like people who use shady tactics to sell items.

Looks like a copy of the Sa Gorget variant center shown in Dick Deeters Gorget book on page 28. Regards, Ed. ...

The film "Idiocracy" was originally released as a comedy. Now it has been re-released as a documentary.
