    Assistance needed

    Hello!
From a (very remote) relative, I have been offered a large medal/badge collection. As I certainly am no expert on KM and LW items (there are quite a few such ones), I would ask assistance in determing the collection as good as possible from scans. If anyone could help out, I will send scans!
    E-mail: selassie@online.no

    Regards,
    Björn

    just a tip :
make a small webpage if you have pic's from that collection on your computer
if you do this,i'm sure you reach more collectors (experts)who could help you examing your collection
    cheers and good luck

      Hi,
In case Glenn's idea is not working, you can send me scans of your LW items - I will forward them to 5-10 LW collectors, members of this forum.
Please, name your pics (1,2,3...) this way we will all know what item we are speaking about.

          Hello!
I have sent scans to those who offered help, so thank you a lot! I agree, I should really learn how to create a small home page with these and other items!

          Björn!

            Hi,
Sad to have to start - in my opinion, the following are not ok
            L/14 wounded badge in silver
            All class of CCC
            The 3 panzer badges
            The army flak badge
            GAB - JFS
Submarine badge = wrong - probably more questionable badges, but I need close up to be sure

              Hello Björn,
I just received a mail from François with pictures of the badges.
The pictures are very small, but I will give it a try.
For the first Juncker Pilotsbadge I need a better picture.
The second Pilotsbadge P/O the rivets seem too big and the wreathsize is different from the first badge.(suspicious)
The Osang badge probably doesn't have the right hinge(suspicious)
I'm not a collector of navy badges, but I'm pretty sure the High Sees Fleet and the Sub-badge are fake.
Probably also fake are some of the Panzerbadges, the Army Flak, the General Assault JFS,the Infanterie Assault unmarked, the Gold Woundbadge L/14,All 3 CCC and pretty sure all 3 REDO SA Military Sportbadges as there are many, many fakes of REDO.
This is just a first impression so I might be wrong in some cases.
My conclusion is that a great deal as not the majority is fake, sorry to say,I hope you didn't buy them yet.
              Regards and good luck,
              Jos.

                  Hi Bjorn,
The scans I got were quite small so its hard to be 100% sure, but I am 99% sure that the Juncker Pilot and Juncker P/O are not original.
If this distant relative is giving you this "stuff" then fine, but don't spend your $$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
                  Good Luck,
                  Tim C.
