1957-er Sports Badges

I have seen the postwar Sports Badges around, but do 1957 versions of the Wartime period sports badges (SA and DRL) exist..??

(And if so...does anybody have pictures of what they look like??)

There are post-war replacement versions of the DRL sports badges (see below for some examples from my collection), but they actually appeared well before the 1957ers.

The SA Sports Badge was banned after the war and remained so under the Ordensgesetz of 1957; thus, no post-war versions of it exist. (The same applies to all other badges of the SA, HJ, BDM, NSFK, SS etc.)

I dont think pictures of these badges existed on this forum. Interesting that they existed before the 57-s

Do you know if they were still awarding these in the 1945-47 period or were they only for people who earned the badges before 1945.

The latter; these were pure replacement pieces.

(The DRL had ceased to exist in 1945. Sports badges only re-emerged in 1948/1949, when the state sports associations instituted their various individual awards (the SLA, LSA, DSA and BSA badges), which were in turn replaced by the nationwide DSB badge in 1952. (Only the Bavarian SLA badge carried on parallel to the DSB one until 2012).
